The Vistelar Group has announced the featured presenters for the Beyond Conflict 2013 conference Nov. 7-10 in Brookfield, Wis. They are:

Jack Hoban, subject matter expert for the U.S. Marine Corps and author of “The Ethical Warrior,” describes the art of keeping the moral compass calibrated under stress.

Veterinarian Dr. Rachel Cezar, who oversees the Horse Protection Act for the U.S. Department of Agriculture, explains the difficult balance between care and accountability.

Chief Thomas Poellot of the Cudahy Police Department and 2013 president of the Milwaukee County Law Enforcement Executive’s Association (MCLEEA) will offer suggestions on putting Verbal Defense & Influence techniques to work and building a personal legacy.

Beyond Conflict 2013 will be held Nov. 7-10, 2013, at the Brookfield Sheraton Hotel in Brookfield, Wis. The conference explores the many applications of the Verbal Defense & Influence conflict management strategies taught by the Vistelar Group.

For the first time, the conference will be open to anyone who faces conflict in the workplace or their personal lives. Up until 2012, the Vistelar Group restricted these professional-level conferences to its network of internal trainers and instructors.

Workshops address topics such as personal power and effectiveness; tactical leadership strategies; engaging others; and taking control of your personal safety.
