Multiple vendors coming together for a holiday shopping event with 15% being donated to the local cause.
Madison, WI – BagInspiration is co-ordinating a holiday shopping event with multiple vendors at the Marriott West on Saturday, December 7, from 10 am – 4 pm. Gilda’s Club of Madison, will benefit as it will receive 15% of total sales from the day.
Many local, women run, small businesses will participate including: BagInspiration, Mary Kay, RubyJupe, Scentsy, Vault Denim, Wildtree Foods, Pampered Chef, and more. The Marriott West is generously donating the room for this worthwhile holiday gift shopping event.
BagInspiration participated in a multi-vendor holiday sale for Gilda’s Club after launching the website in September of 2010. It was there that the idea of using the parties as a way to fundraise for the non-profit of the host’s choice became clear. “BagInspiration is proud to empower women by allowing them to help the non-profits they are personally passionate about,” says Stefanie Kushner, owner of BagInspiration.
BagInspiration is a Middleton-based online retailer, co-founded by Stefanie Kushner, selling eco fashionable, unique purses and bags. In addition to the website, BagInspiration holds fundraiser “purse parties” to benefit the non-profit of the host’s choice. A few of the non-profits benefitting from these fundraisers organized by BagInspiration include: Friends of University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics, Wisconsin Women’s Health Initiative, River Food Pantry, Haiti Allies, Waunakee Family Center, Middleton Outreach Ministry, Madison Community Foundation and many more non-profits located in Madison, Milwaukee and Chicago.
