Toledo, OH: (February 5, 2013): Buckeye Cable System, the Toledo-area cable television provider, will once again air a total of ten (10) Flat Rock and Toledo Speedway events from the 2013 track schedules as part of the popular “Sunday Night at the Races” programming this season on the Buckeye Cable Sports Network (BCSN). The telecasts are slated for the 9 p.m. time slot.

The 10 race televised slate will include the April 20th 7-Up 150, a “combo event” featuring the ARCA/CRA Super Series and the ARCA Midwest Tour. That event will be the first ever event that will be co-sanctioned by the two groups. The two groups are also scheduled to co-sanction an event at Madison International Speedway in Madison, Wisconsin on August 11th. The 7-Up 150 will be a point’s event for both series and is expected to draw a huge car count. The event will have an increased purse and a possible second feature for cars not making the 150 lap main event.

The 2013 season for the ARCA Midwest Tour kicks off at Toledo Speedway on Friday and Saturday, April 19th & 20th. Visitarcamidwesttour.com for the full 2013 schedule.

The ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards has crowned 30 ARCA national champions in 60 seasons since 1953, and has toured over 200 race tracks in 26 states since its inception. The series has tested the abilities of drivers and race teams over the most diverse schedule of stock car racing events in the world, visiting tracks ranging from 0.375 mile to 2.66 miles in length, on both paved and dirt surfaces as well as a left- and right-turn road course in its most recent season.

Founded by John and Mildred Marcum in 1953 in Toledo, Ohio, the Automobile Racing Club of America (ARCA) is recognized among the leading sanctioning bodies in the country. Closing in on completing its sixth decade after hundreds of thousands of miles of racing, ARCA administers over 100 race events each season in four professional touring series and local weekly events.
