MADISON, Wis. – Wisconsin’s largest nonprofit community hospice, Agrace HospiceCare, has appointed health care leader Christopher Queram to its Board of Directors.

The Agrace Board is responsible for guiding the organization of more than 500 employees and 1,000 volunteers, headquartered at 5395 E. Cheryl Parkway in Fitchburg. Agrace also has an office in Janesville and has provided hospice services to patients throughout south central Wisconsin for 35 years.

Queram is President and CEO of Wisconsin Collaborative for Healthcare Quality. He has been with the organization since 2005. Queram is responsible for the development of the strategic direction and sustainable business model for a multi-stakeholder consortium of organizations dedicated to improving the quality and cost-effectiveness of healthcare for the people of Wisconsin. To the Agrace Board, he brings his expertise in the philosophy and methods of continuous quality improvement.

Founded in 1978, Agrace is a nonprofit, community-based hospice and palliative care agency dedicated to providing exceptional care and support to patients and families facing the challenges of serious illness. With offices in Madison and Janesville, Agrace serves more than 600 patients every day in Dane, Rock, Walworth, Green and Jefferson Counties.
