Craig McKee & Kent Wainscott Provide Team Coverage in Tampa and Charlotte

MILWAUKEE, (August 23, 2012) — WISN 12 News Anchor Craig McKee and Political Reporter Kent Wainscott will travel to Tampa, Fla., on Sunday to cover the 2012 Republican National Convention, Aug. 27-30. The two journalists will also be in Charlotte, N.C. Sept. 4-6, for the Democratic National Convention. WISN 12 News Upfront’s Mike Gousha will provide political analysis, here in Milwaukee, for both conventions.

“With the critical role Wisconsin is playing in this upcoming election, it’s important to bring our viewers unique perspective from both these conventions,” says Jan Wade, president and general manager of WISN 12. “Craig and Kent are veteran reporters who consistently provide relevant coverage of the issues that matter to the viewers of southeastern Wisconsin. By having them on location, WISN 12 News can dissect every angle to help voters make an informed decision come November. This team coverage is part of our promise to lead the way with important local coverage.”

McKee and Wainscott will be following Wisconsin delegates and reporting on Wisconsin’s role as a key swing state in the national election.
