Location has moved to Frontier Airlines Center

MADISON, Wis. – The National Summit on Innovation for Associations will be held Sept. 19 – 20 at the Frontier Airlines Center in Milwaukee, according to the Wisconsin Society of Association Executives, the summit sponsor.

The summit brings together association executives and staff who are looking for innovative ways to engage members and advance their organizations’ missions. Keynote speaker for the event is Jill Morin, former executive officer of Kahler Slater, where she helped create an organizational culture that led to the company being named a Best Place to Work eight times by the Great Places to Work Institute. She is the author of the book, “Better Make it Real: Creating Authenticity in an Increasingly Fake World.”

Two executives from Harley Davidson, Rebecca Bortner, marketing director, and Steve Piehl, director of customer experience, will speak about the Harley Owners Group as an example of successful engagement of a company’s stakeholders. Facilitating the summit is Marshall Brown, founder and CEO of Marshall Brown & Associates, an international coaching, training and leadership development firm.

The summit also includes innovation “labs,” where summit attendees can meet to discuss common challenges facing associations and share practical applications of innovation. Finally, Visit Milwaukee is hosting an evening reception and live jazz and dessert cruise on the Milwaukee River Wednesday, Sept. 19. Space is limited.

Registration is available online at http://www.wsae.org.
