Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation: Paul Jadin statement on Governor Walker selection of Tim Sullivan to serve as Special Consultant for Business and Workforce Development

MADISON, February 16, 2012 – Governor Scott Walker announced today that as part of his ongoing “Wisconsin Working” initiatives, Tim Sullivan has agreed to serve as a Special Consultant for Business and Workforce Development for the state of Wisconsin.

“Governor Walker is addressing one of the biggest challenges to economic development – the capability and availability of our workforce,” said Paul Jadin, CEO/Secretary of the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation. “Tim Sullivan will play an important role in integrating the education and workforce training infrastructure with economic development resources.”

“Tim’s background will also have the benefit of adding to the administration someone with private sector experience to augment the efforts of the Governor, Lt. Governor and WEDC in promoting additional opportunities for business expansion,” Jadin said.
