Public meeting for I-39/90 Project, north segment in Dane County

A public information meeting will occur on Tuesday, April 24 to introduce the north segment of the I-39/90 Project and its goals to reconstruct and expand I-39/90 between the Dane/Rock County line and US 12/18 in Dane County. The meeting will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Edgerton Public Library, 101 Albion Street, Edgerton, WI 53534.

The proposed improvements for the north segment of I-39/90 include the reconstruction of the existing freeway lanes and expanding the Interstate to six lanes. The interchanges within the segment limits will be reconstructed to address roadway and capacity deficiencies. Grade separated crossings along the segment are also included in the reconstruction.

The public is encouraged to attend the meeting, provide input and ask questions regarding this project.

If you are unable to attend the meeting, or would like more information, contact Craig Pringle at (608) 242-8058. Written comments regarding the project can be mailed to Craig Pringle, WisDOT Project Manager, 2101 Wright Street, Madison, WI 53704. Citizens who are hearing-impaired and require an interpreter may request one by contacting Craig Pringle at least three working days prior to the meeting via the Wisconsin Telecommunications Relay System (dial 711).
