Serigraph Inc. is one of a select group of companies to earn the designation of “Green Master”, the highest tier in the Green Masters Program established by the Wisconsin Sustainable Business Council. As a Green Master, Serigraph has performed actions in each of the nine sustainability areas and has scored in the top twenty percent of all participating companies.

“Serigraph has achieved a Green Master Award winner three consecutive years. Serigraph, is an example of how efforts toward sustainability also achieve success in broader business goals,” says Tom Eggert, Executive Director of the WI Sustainable Business Council.

“Sustainability is a part of the corporate culture at Serigraph. Management reviews evaluate progress on environmental measures. The Green Masters Program provides an opportunity to benchmark with other organizations,” said to Nick Leifeld of Serigraph

Serigraph has identified several significant environmental aspects from its Environmental Management System and has taken specific actions to improve performance for all measurements. Over the past year they have made reduction in water consumption, waste production, power consumption and toxic air emissions, among others.

Applicants to the Green Masters Program are judged on a comprehensive range of sustainability issues, from energy to water use to educational outreach and governance. Over 90 Wisconsin businesses are participating in the program where the top twenty percent achieve the highest “Green Master” designation.
