International tax veteran Bob Buetow joins the firm

Milwaukee, Wisconsin — Wipfli LLP, a leading CPA and consulting firm, announced today that it has expanded its international services practice with the recent addition of Bob Buetow as a Director of International Tax. Buetow brings over 30 years of experience in the international tax area and will lead the firmwide international tax services group.

In his position with Wipfli, Buetow is responsible for all international tax and compliance work and the delivery of a full range of international tax services to many of the firm’s international clients. In his career, Buetow has provided domestic and international tax consulting and compliance services to private and public entities, including major international tax planning and compliance projects for large flow-through entities and large C corporations.
Prior to joining Wipfli, Buetow worked for over 13 years with a large national public accounting firm as the director of international tax, and for 17 years as a manager of international tax for a large public company with over $5 billion in revenue. He is a member of the Minnesota Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. In addition, Buetow holds a master of business taxation degree from the University of Minnesota, and bachelor of business administration and master of business administration degrees from Loyola University in Chicago.
