WISCONSIN DELLS, Wis. — Wilderness Hotel & Golf Resort officials today announced that they have begun construction on an indoor Northern Lights Sky Ropes Course. It is anticipated to be completed and open for business by the end of the month.
According to Joe Eck, general manager for America’s largest waterpark resort, “This new attraction is going to be fantastic! It will tower 30 feet above the Northern Lights Mega Arcade and it will take guests to a whole new level of fun! Adventure enthusiasts wearing full-body safety harnesses will climb their way around 42 challenges in varying degrees of difficulty all while discovering how much of a daredevil they truly are!”

The fun new indoor attraction will be part of the Wilderness Resort’s Wild Fun and Extreme Fun Discount Passes. Guests will also be able to purchase a separate admission for $9.
Construction, which will be overseen by Rope Courses Inc., will occur during the nighttime hours after the Northern Lights Mega Arcade is closed. The arcade will maintain its normal hours during construction.

The Wilderness Territory consists of over 600 wooded acres in Wisconsin Dells, is home to Wilderness Hotel & Golf Resort, which features 444 guest rooms, 40 vacation villas, 76 Frontier Condominiums and 35 cabins. It is also home to Wilderness on the Lake which features 108 luxurious two and three bedroom condominium units overlooking Lake Delton; and Glacier Canyon Lodge, which features 460 upscale condominium units.
