2012 has been another amazing year of struggle, action and achievement here at Voces.

From defending voting rights through two victorious state and federal lawsuits, to helping organize the unionization campaign of courageous striking workers at Palermo’s Pizza.

From the incredible effort by Youth Empowered in the Struggle (YES) in drafting Wisconsin’s first Student Bill of Rights, to organizing DREAMers to win deportation relief through “Deferred Action”, to mobilizing an unprecedented turnout of Latino voters in the presidential election. We are thrilled to have the opportunity to step back and recognize our friends who have helped us get this far!

This Thursday we honor our supporters- the defenders of civil and labor rights who contribute to the important work that Voces de la Frontera carries out at the state and national level.

Please join us to celebrate our victories and preview the challenges ahead.
