UW-Oshkosh: Kahler Slater selected for University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh Clow Social Science Center renovation project

Firm to Design Updated Facilities for College of Nursing, College of Education and Human Services, and College of Letters and Sciences

MILWAUKEE – Kahler Slater, a Milwaukee-based, award-winning architecture and experience design firm, has been chosen to provide design services for the renovation of the Clow Social Science Center at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh in Oshkosh, Wis.

The $26 million project will include creation of a new state-of-the-art home for the university’s College of Nursing, as well as modernization of classrooms, teaching labs and instructional and support spaces for the College of Education and Human Services and the College of Letters and Science’s psychology, foreign language and literature labs. It also will include a reconfigured pedestrian mall leading from Clow’s new entrance to two neighboring buildings.

Construction is scheduled to begin in 2013 and the renovated building is expected to reopen in 2014.
