USGA: Corporate hospitality sales strong for 2012 U.S. Women’s Open

KOHLER, Wis. – Kohler Co. and the United States Golf Association (USGA) are pleased to announce a strong surge in corporate sales over recent weeks resulting in the sellout of Blackwolf Run’s clubhouse and premium hospitality venues for the upcoming U.S. Women’s Open for the July 2 – 8 championship in Kohler, Wis.

Only a limited number of all-inclusive, two- and four-day skybox options remain along the 18th fairway. Perched above all the action, these packages include a variety of amenities, from nearby paved guest parking with air-conditioned motor-coach transportation to and from the main admissions gate, food and beverage services, dual-logoed corporate and championship commemorative merchandise opportunities, to the best shaded stadium seating on the final hole of the championship.

Due to growing interest and demand, the 2012 U.S. Women’s Open has introduced a final corporate savings incentive program for Group Ticket/Badge bulk orders. Benefiting organizations, alumni, social and/or professional groups, clubs and companies small or large, this program rewards them for a simpler investment beyond the all-inclusive nature of larger corporate hospitality packages.

“We’ve heard from a number of companies and clubs who were eager to be a part of the championship, but on a more daily or more mass level as a way to enjoy fellowship and reward their members, employees and others within their networking circles,” explained Jackie Endsley, account manager for corporate for the 2012 U.S. Women’s Open. “The Group Ticket/Badge bulk order program has been well received in this manner, especially for those groups who were eager to activate in either a simpler, or in a mass way, with one such organization coming in and purchasing over 700 tickets in one transaction.”

Investment levels for Group Ticket/Badge bulk orders are available for all ticket and badge types, with limited quantities remaining on the upgraded Trophy Club experience. From as little as $1,000 to an investment of more than $24,000, savings of 4 to 15 percent off retail ticket and badge prices are included.

The Women’s Open returns to The Original Championship course at Blackwolf Run this summer, July 2-8, 2012.
