Freeport, IL: Swift Hospitality Group, Inc. (SHG), as part of Fitchburg Lodging LLC, currently owns and manages the Country Inn & Suites By Carlson, Madison Southwest located in Fitchburg, Wisconsin. SHG and its partners have no connection to the site’s former owner, Christian Peterson, who is facing federal fraud charges.
“We acquired the Fitchburg property in June, 2010 from Oak Bank and have invested more than $300,000 in renovations and upgrades to the hotel to improve our guests’ experience,” said David Swift, president and CEO of SHG. “We are proud to be part of the greater Madison community and look forward to making our guests feel at home for years to come.”
