Madison, WI – SupraNet Communications has expanded their presence into Chicago in order to improve geographical diversity of their Disaster Recovery products and to increase network capacity.
With this expansion into Chicago, Madison clients can now safely back up critical files to a secure site hundreds of miles away. The Chicago presence helps reduce SupraNet’s cost of bandwidth while increasing access to bandwidth and carriers via the connection to the regional Internet hub, 350 Cermak, where the world’s top-tier data access providers interconnect.
Additionally, SupraNet has established a presence at DuPont Fabros:CH1, a data center facility that exceeds Tier 3 standards near O’Hare Airport in Elk Grove Village, IL, where customers can colocate equipment. This connection further allows SupraNet clients to experience more reliable Web hosting by being most closely connected to the Internet backbone.
