MADISON, Wis. —Summit Credit Union has promoted Jim Costanzo to oversee the financial’s Waunakee branch, located at 304 E. Main St., in addition to his current role as branch manager of the Westport branch, which he’s managed since June 2011.

Costanzo has nearly 30 years of banking experience. Prior to joining Summit, Costanzo was 1st vice president of consumer lending and compliance coordinator for AnchorBank in Madison. He also held leadership roles in the areas of training, sales and loan production and managed multiple branches at AnchorBank, where he worked for 28 years.

Costanzo earned a bachelor of arts degree from University of Wisconsin – Madison and holds a Wisconsin Resident Intermediary Credit Insurance license. He was an instructor and board member for the Wisconsin Bankers Association Consumer Credit School in Madison for the past 10 years and currently is the oratorical contest director for the Southern Wisconsin Optimist District in since 1995.

A resident of Westport, Costanzo and his family are actively involved in the community. He is an Optimist Club member, Knights of Columbus member, Waunakee Touchdown Club member and an announcer for the junior-varsity football games at Waunakee High School, where his son, Dominic is a sophmore, and where his two daughters, Bianca and Amanda, attended and graduated. He has also coached multiple youth sports in Waunakee for more than 10 years.
