Sterling Water, Inc.: Area Culligan dealership acquires RainSoft of Weston

ROTHSCHILD, WI – Sterling Water, Inc. d.b.a Culligan of Eau Claire and Wausau, announces its acquisition of RainSoft of Weston (formerly Absolute Water Systems, LLC) effective Tuesday, November 27, 2012. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed, but the deal includes assets, service customers and inventory for the entire operation.

“We are thrilled to welcome these new customers to the Sterling Water family,” says David Gilbertson, general manager of Sterling Water’s Eau Claire location. “We know the area, we know the water and we are ready to go to work right away. The team and I welcome any questions or concerns.”

Both Gilbertson’s store and RainSoft of Weston maintained accounts in the west central Wisconsin counties of Dunn, Eau Claire, Chippewa, Taylor, Clark and Wood. Additional Rainsoft of Weston customers are located in the neighboring counties of Wisconsin from Abbottsford to Green Bay.

A variety of additional products and services will be made available to interested RainSoft customers, including a full-service website, automatic salt plus delivery service, bottled water, portable exchange softening, bottle-free coolers and extended-term service agreements.

“I tip my hat to Randy Davids and Tammy Bach, the previous owners of RainSoft of Weston,” says Bret P. Tangley, President of Sterling Water. “They did an excellent job, and we know we have high expectations to live up to. With this latest move, we have only strengthened our desire to be the community’s resource for anything water.” Tangley pointed out that Sterling Water will continue to service and maintain all RainSoft of Weston customers, regardless of the make and model of their current equipment.
