Stateline World Trade Association: Accepting nominations for its 21st annual International Trade Awards

[Beloit, WI / Rockford, IL] – The Stateline World Trade Association (SLWTA) announced today that it is now accepting nominations for its 21st annual International Trade Awards. With these awards, the SLWTA intends to highlight firms in the stateline area that have achieved significant growth through international trade or have otherwise implemented innovative international strategies. Last year’s honorees included the DeLong Company of Clinton, WI and Furst-McNess of Freeport, IL; the awards were presented by Wisconsin’s Gov. Scott Walker and Illinois’ U.S. Rep. Don Manzullo.

Nomination forms are available on the SLWTA’s website, http://www.slwta.org and will be accepted through March 22, 2012.

Active since 1987, the SLWTA is a local, private-sector, non-profit organization which promotes an understanding of the international marketplace. The association’s monthly dinner seminars offer educational, trade-related speakers and presentations from September through April every year.
