State rolls out $500,000 ad campaign touting business climate

A new ad campaign dubbed “In Wisconsin” is aimed at making businesses in Wisconsin aware of available help from state government as well as informing them about the state’s advantages.

Gov. Scott Walker and Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation CEO Paul Jadin unveiled the new effort to promote Wisconsin’s business climate at a Wednesday press conference.

The initial phase of the campaign highlights five Wisconsin businesses — Organic Valley, Rockwell Automation, Schneider National, Trek, and Virent — in various ads and billboards.

A paid media campaign set to begin next week and run through December is budgeted for $500,000 of the WEDC’s $2 million marketing budget; it will target Wisconsin as well as the Twin Cities and Chicago markets.
