Adults and kids read together as part of National Early Childhood Education movement

PALMYRA, Wis. — Just announced by national early education organization Jumpstart, Standard Process and Vita Kids Learning Center helped set a new world reading record. The new record is 2,385,305 million kids reading together across the country and around the world during Jumpstart’s annual program “Read for the Record,” which helps raise awareness for early child education and literacy skills.

Standard Process’ Jerry Curtin director of human resources; Tammi Geiger director of marketing (pictured above); and Alicia Sarenac, receptionist read “Ladybug Girl and the Bug Squad” by David Soman and Jacky Davis, to four classrooms at Vita Kids Learning Center, company’s on-site child care facility. Having the center on-site ensures Standard Process employees have access to safe, nurturing, educational, and affordable childcare in proximity to the workplace.
