Whole food supplement manufacturer announces one employee promotion and three new hires

PALMYRA, Wis. (September 12, 2012)—Standard Process Inc. announces the addition of Kathleen Fleck, Greg Patten, and Jim Waksmonski to its staff of over 300, and promotion of Customer Service Manager Julie Van Leirsburg to information technology (IT) project manager.

Fleck, of St. Charles, Mo., is joining Standard Process’ marketing team as the veterinary segment manager. In her new role, she will oversee the company’s marketing efforts for its Standard Process Veterinary Formulas product line, which is a line of dietary supplements specifically formulated for dogs, cats and horses. Fleck will also be responsible for building relationships with veterinarians who are interested in using nutrition in their practices. Prior to joining Standard Process, Fleck worked for pet food manufacturer Royal Canin where she managed the veterinary marketing team. She received her bachelor’s degree from West Virginia University and a master’s degree in business from Northern Illinois University.

Patten, of Edgerton, Wis., is a 2012 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and interned in Standard Process’ information technology department. He was hired as a full-time production applications support specialist to help implement, customize and maintain Standard Process production software systems. Patten is also pivotal in assisting all areas of Standard Process with access to report data and analytics.

Waksmonski, of Whitewater, Wis., is the newest member of the company’s research and development department. In his new position as a food technologist, Waksmonski, a 2012 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, will assist in the development of innovative manufacturing processes and formulas for dietary supplement products and ingredients.

Van Leirsburg, of Oconomowoc, was promoted to IT project manager in the company’s information technology department. In her new role, Van Leirsburg is responsible for managing the project workflow through the IT department. She earned her a bachelor’s degree in fine arts from the University of Montana – Missoula and her master’s degree in business from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.
