Glendale, WI – On Sunday, April 29th, Sprecher Brewing Company and several local businesses will come together for the 5th Annual “Brewing Up A Cure,” a benefit for Gilda’s Club of Southeastern Wisconsin. This event features more than just a brewery tour and samples of award-winning beers and gourmet sodas, it is a whole afternoon of fun, relaxation and education. Lunch will be provided by BRAVO! Cucina Italina. Ongoing mini-massages, skin care tips, Reiki and acupuncture treatments are available along with health and wellness educational sessions. This event is open to everyone – cancer patients and survivors, friends, family, the general public.
“Once upon a time you were in the minority if you had cancer or if you knew someone who had cancer. Sadly, that’s changed. So many people have been diagnosed with one form of cancer or another; it’s rare to find someone without any connection with cancer. Gilda’s Club of Southeastern Wisconsin is a valuable community asset. Their wide array of programs helps cancer patients and their families through a tough journey. Advance tickets for the event are $25 for adults and $10 for children 16 years of age and younger. Tickets purchased at the door are $30 for adults and $15 for children 16 years and younger.
