MILWAUKEE – Jerome M. Janzer, CEO of Reinhart Boerner Van Deuren s.c. (Reinhart), announced that attorneys Lisa Nester Kass, Rebecca Frihart Kennedy, Joseph W. Voiland and Nathan J. Wautier have been named shareholders.
Kass is a member of the firm’s Litigation and Intellectual Property Practices. She assists a broad range of corporate clients, including manufacturers, real estate developers, investors, and service providers, in the resolution of business and intellectual property disputes. Her experience includes a variety of commercial and intellectual property litigation at both the trial and appellate levels in state and federal courts. Recently, Kass was named an Adjunct Professor of Law at Marquette University Law School, where she will teach the IP Litigation Workshop in the Spring Semester of 2012.
Kass earned her J.D., cum laude, from Marquette University Law School and her B.A., with distinction, from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Kennedy is a member of the firm’s Litigation Practice and Product Liability and Safety Service Group. She represents corporations ranging from financial institutions to consumer product and heavy machinery manufacturers in a wide range of complex civil litigation matters. Kennedy has litigated cases at both the trial and appellate levels in state and federal courts, and regularly serves as local counsel in Wisconsin state courts and the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Wisconsin.
Kennedy earned her J.D. from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law and her B.A., magna cum laude, from Allegheny College.
Voiland is a member of the firm’s Litigation, Employee Benefits, and Government Relations Practice Groups. His practice is concentrated on financial services litigation and government-related litigation. Voiland is actively involved with pro bono work and was co-recipient of Reinhart’s 2010 Pro Bono Attorney of the Year award.
Voiland earned his J.D., with honors, from Marquette University Law School and his B.A. from Northwestern University.
Wautier is a member of the firm’s Real Estate Practice and Institutional Investor Services Group. Wautier acts as the point-of-entry on a range of legal needs and services for a variety of corporate and institutional clients. He serves as legal advisor for real estate developers, owners, operators, borrowers and lenders on real estate projects and related financings in Wisconsin and across the country. He also advises domestic and internationally based institutional and pension plan investors involved in the private equity and hedge fund markets.
Wautier earned his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Wisconsin Law School and his A.B., with general and departmental honors, from the University of Chicago.
