REDGIANT ANALYTICS, INC and its affiliate REDGIANT ANALYTICS ASIA SDN BHD (herein collectively named “RedGiant”), were primary sponsors of the recent Malaysian Retailers-Chains Association’s (MRCA) 2012-2014 Council Installation event held on April 20th, 2012 at the Sunway Resort Hotel in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. RedGiant, a U.S.-based provider of innovative Business Analytics solutions and services, recently opened its Kuala Lumpur office to better serve the fast growing Asia Pacific region. RedGiant’s commitment to a local and regional presence includes amongst other things corporate sponsorship of the MRCA event. MRCA’s corporate members constitute almost all big retail chain store players in Malaysia with aggregate sales in 2011 of over USD 2.0 billion.

Peter Thum, RedGiant’s Chief Technology Officer, and Loh Yuen Tuck, the Country Representative for Malaysia’s RedGiant, attended the MRCA Council Installation event with Loh accepting the corporate sponsor appreciation award. “We see tremendous value in our support of the MRCA given its overall mission and the business objectives of new MRCA President Dato’ Nelson Kwok over the next two years,” said Thum. The MRCA is the strongest professional retailer-chains association in Malaysia and offers its retail members an excellent platform for networking, training and education, and establishing synergistic business relationships between over 200 corporate members.
