MILWAUKEE, Wis. (July 24, 2012) — The national law firm of Quarles & Brady LLP announced that Jack M. Cook, a partner in the Firm’s Milwaukee office, and Kevin J. Eldridge, an associate in the Firm’s Madison office were selected as “2012 Up and Coming Lawyers” by the Wisconsin Law Journal.
The “2012 Up and Coming Lawyer” honorees are attorneys who are on the fast track to making a significant impact on the legal profession, represent determination in legal work, in community betterment, and in improving their own law firms, and have been practicing eight years or less. All 25 recipients will be featured in a special publication of the Wisconsin Law Journal and honored at a reception on September 19 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Cook is a member of the Intellectual Property Group and heads the Firm’s Research Institutions Industry Team. He focuses his practice on assisting clients concerning a broad range of intellectual property issues, with emphasis in the areas of U.S. and foreign patent prosecution, patent licensing and patent litigation. He was selected for inclusion in the Wisconsin Super Lawyers-Rising Stars Edition in the area of intellectual property. He received his law degree from Marquette University Law School and his undergraduate degree, cum laude, from Michigan Technology University.
Eldridge is a member of the Health Law Group. His experience includes assisting health care providers with a variety of issues, including health information privacy and security, health information technology and electronic medical records, hospital regulatory compliance, medical staff and patient care issues. He earned his law degree, summa cum laude, from Marquette University Law School and his undergraduate degree, summa cum laude, from the University of St. Thomas.
