MILWAUKEE, Wis. (April 4, 2012) — The national law firm of Quarles & Brady LLP announced that it will receive the 2012 Inspire by Example Business Award from the Nonprofit Center of Milwaukee. The Firm was nominated by the Wisconsin Women’s Business Initiative Corporation.
The annual Inspire by Example awards recognizes six categories of outstanding volunteer services in Milwaukee County through area nonprofits. The award categories include adult, youth, team, business, The Wilde Volunteer Management Award, and The Fran Swigart Board Leadership Award. The Milwaukee office was recognized in the Business category for its Quarles Cares program and its pro bono legal representation, which provided nearly 10,000 hours of service in 2011, worth over $2.6 million. The award will be presented at the 30th Annual Volunteer Celebration on April 12 in Milwaukee.
