MILWAUKEE, Wis. (August 2, 2012) — The national law firm of Quarles & Brady LLP announced that David A. Strifling has re-joined the Firm’s Milwaukee office as Of Counsel in the Environmental Practice Group.

Strifling practices in the areas of environmental permitting and litigation, including CERCLA, Clean Water Act, RCRA, and Clean Air Act compliance. He also contributes to the Firm’s appellate practice before the Wisconsin Supreme Court, Wisconsin Court of Appeals, and United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. Before entering the practice of law, Strifling spent five years as a practicing civil and environmental engineer, with an emphasis in water supply management and wastewater conveyance/treatment. Prior to re-joining the Firm, he was an Abraham L. Freedman Teaching Fellow at Temple University Beasley School of Law where he taught Natural Resources Law, Environmental Law, Property, Introduction to Intellectual Property and Legal Research and Writing.

He received his LL.M. from Harvard Law School and both his law degree, magna cum laude, and undergraduate degree, magna cum laude, from Marquette University.
