Recent Graduate Completes Firm’s Summer Roster
MILWAUKEE — Primum Marketing Communications hires Doug Clemons as pubic relations summer intern. Clemons will be aiding the Primum team in social media strategy, media pitching as well as writing and editing press releases on behalf of agency clients.
“I am always looking for a way to confidently step outside of my comfort zone,” said Clemons. “Primum does just that by offering hands-on training with a diverse group of clients. I am excited to build upon my public relations and marketing skills.”
Clemons joins the Primum team after his recent graduation from Cardinal Stritch University, double majoring in Communications and Voice Performance with emphasis on Opera. Prior to graduation, Clemons held public relations/marketing internships at Milwaukee Repertory Theater and SouthEast Wisconsin Performing Arts. He was an active member in campus news and radio as well as a participant in WISN Student Commitment program.
Clemons’ roots in the arts come from being an active performer for local companies such as Florentine Opera, Skylight Music Theater and Milwaukee Opera Theater. Before coming to Milwaukee for college, Doug toured land and sea with performers such as Michael Bublé and the Three Mo’ Tenors.
