S. Mark Tyler, President of OEM Fabricators, Inc. announced today that OEM Fabricators is expanding its operations to Baldwin. OEM has signed a long-term lease on 80,000 square feet of space in the former Clopay building located at 2091 Hwy. 12 on the corner of Hwy. 12 and Hwy 63. The leased facility will house OEM Micro, a division of OEM Fabricators that specializes in micro scale instrument, medical, electronics and aerospace markets. The micro division is positioned well for substantial growth utilizing 5-axis micro machining and expanded Swiss style turning capacity. Approximately 40,000 square feet will be devoted to OEM Fabricators for current and future projects. OEM plans to move 40 Team Members from its current Woodville operation to the new Baldwin facility. Additionally, the company plans to hire an additional 100 employees over the next few years.

OEM Fabricators is a leading contract manufacturer in Wisconsin. From humble beginning in 1986 with three Team Members in a 2500 square foot pole shed to today, with more than 500 Team Members and sales of $75 million, the company’s growth has been truly remarkable. The new Baldwin facility provides the company with needed space to accommodate current projects. OEM now has four locations including its 72,000 square foot headquarter facility in Woodville; a 55,000 square foot facility in Neillsville; a 10,000 square foot facility in Prentice and the new Baldwin facility.

OEM manages entire process flows including supply chain integration for its customers, a full service one stop shop, OEM designs and builds medium to heavy gauge components, subassemblies and turnkey products for a diverse customer base including: oil and gas exploration, construction, agriculture, power generation, electronics, medical device, transportation, mining and defense industries.

“With the expansion to the Baldwin facility, I would like to congratulate our Team Members on their significant contributions to the success of OEM. The company is only as good as its Team and we have an outstanding team,” stated Mark Tyler.
