NEW NORTH – New North, Inc. is pleased to announce the launch of its newly revamped website at http://www.thenewnorth.com. The redesigned site serves as launching point to learn about business opportunities in the 18-county New North region, acting as a connection point to leading business, educational and economic development resources.
“The re-design of the New North website builds on the strong foundation already set into place with the original website,” says Jerry Murphy, executive director of New North, Inc. “Our new site is easy to navigate and provides a significant amount of information to anyone interested in the abundant opportunities the New North provides.”
The organization’s six strategic initiatives are promoted through individual landing pages in the site’s redesign under the headings: Regional jobs, industry clusters, entrepreneurial climate, educational attainment, sustainability and regional brand.
Additionally, the website features a facility and site selector interactive map tool, providing an updated database of available industrial and commercial properties for businesses interested in expansion or re-location to the New North region.
“Visitors to the site don’t just learn about the regional projects and collaborations of New North, Inc., and its partners, they also get a feel for the people, places, businesses and organizations located in the region,” says Murphy. “That’s important because it helps promote our brand: New North, North of What You Expect, while also acting as an informative tool on regional initiatives.”
The redesign is part of the organization’s ongoing efforts to enhance the quality and availability of information to partners, investors, and organizational and educational leaders in the region, as well as site-selectors outside of the region.
The site was designed and developed in partnership with two investor companies, Infinity Technology of Green Bay and Coalesce Marketing & Design of Appleton.
