Nelson Schmidt Inc.: Continues to expand with addition of copywriters Frauen and Witwicki

MILWAUKEE – May 3, 2012 – Nelson Schmidt Inc., a leading full-service marketing communications firm, announced today that it has hired Jordon Frauen and Alysha Witwicki as copywriters in its Milwaukee office.

Frauen and Witwicki will be responsible for producing copy for advertising campaigns, sales collateral and websites for agency clients.

“It is vital in our industry to continuously provide clients with new insights and perspectives,” said Ken Hagan, executive creative director of Nelson Schmidt. “The addition of Jordon and Alysha will bolster the department’s ability to offer our global client roster fresh creative that breaks through the clutter.”

Frauen’s most recent experience copywriting in an agency setting was at Rocket Clicks in Menomonee Falls, Wis. He was also a writer for brass MEDIA Inc., across its editorial properties.

A 2005 University of Oregon graduate, Frauen earned his bachelor’s degree in Journalism.

Prior to joining the agency, Witwicki worked at Reader’s Digest in the creative marketing department and was a copywriter at a Milwaukee-based firm.

Witwicki graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 2008 with a bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Mass Communication.
