Wisconsin Working plan aimed at getting veterans back to work

Neenah, Wis. – As one of Wisconsin’s largest construction industry employers, Miron Construction Co., Inc. announces its support of efforts by Governor Walker to streamline the process for Wisconsin veterans to get back into the workforce.

“We’re fortunate here in Wisconsin to have one of the most skilled workforces in the entire country,” says Corey Brumbaugh, vice president of business development for Miron. “Our leaders in Madison continue to play a part through their support and commitment to the Wisconsin workforce. Wisconsin Working helps lay the groundwork to connect people who need jobs with businesses that need workers. Despite the budget challenges we face as a state, we’re encouraged that Governor Walker has launched this effort to kick-start our state’s workforce.”

In addition to being one of the larger employers in the state, executives at Miron Construction work with policymakers in Madison and Washington to support efforts to get Wisconsin residents back to work.

“Whether it’s our support of regional economic development organizations like New North, Inc. or the Milwaukee 7, we’re doing what we can to help create jobs and keep Wisconsin’s economy moving forward,” says Brumbaugh.
