Milwaukee, WI (February 8, 2012) – The law firm of Michael Best & Friedrich LLP is pleased to welcome five new attorneys to its Milwaukee Office.

Gregory M. Tears is a partner in the Transactional Practice Group with a focus on public finance. Tears received his B.A. in English from Harvard University in 1998 and earned his J.D. in 2002 from Rutgers University School of Law – Newark. Prior to joining Michael Best, Tears worked for an east-coast law firm where he practiced public finance law.

Victor J. Allen is a member of the Litigation Practice Group. Allen received his B.S., summa cum laude, from Loyola University Chicago in 2006. He graduated from Loyola University Chicago School of Law with a J.D. in 2010. Allen also studied Belarusian and International Law at the Academy of Public Administration in Minsk, Belarus until May 2003. Prior to joining Michael Best, Allen worked for the non-profit organization, Legal Action of Wisconsin, Inc., where he represented low-income clients.

Dayna M. Frenkel is a member of the Intellectual Property Practice Group with a focus on trademark law. Frenkel obtained a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Michigan in 2006 and graduated with her J.D. from Washington University School of Law in 2010. She previously served as the supervising attorney for volunteer lawyers, law students and undergraduates staffing self-help and legal advice clinics at the Milwaukee Justice Center.

M. Rhett Holland is a member of the Wealth Planning Practice Group. Holland earned his B.A. in Political Science from The University of the South in 2004. He graduated from Marquette University Law School with a J.D. in 2011. Holland has previous experience working as a Trust Associate for U.S. Trust Bank of American Private Wealth Management.

Zachary J. Watters is a member of the Litigation Practice Group. He obtained his B.A. in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin – Madison in 2006. Watters graduated with his J.D. from Loyola University Chicago School of Law in 2010. Previous to joining Michael Best, Watters was a staff attorney at Legal Action of Wisconsin, Inc.
