Madison, WI – Michael Best & Friedrich LLP is pleased to announce that Jon G. Furlow has rejoined the Litigation Practice Group in Michael Best’s Madison office, effective September 1, 2012.
Furlow rejoins Michael Best from CUNA Mutual Group in Madison, WI. As Vice President, Associate General Counsel at CUNA, Furlow’s experience includes organizing and managing a product service team responsible for litigation and regulatory matters, directing responsibility as lead inside counsel in key corporate litigation, and reporting to the CEO and COO to provide counsel on key litigation and regulatory risks.
Furlow previously practiced at Michael Best from 1992 to 2007 with a focus on commercial litigation, handling cases involving antitrust, First Amendment, trade secret, class actions, fraud, products liability, consumer, timeshare, contracts, insurance and environmental. Furlow has tried both jury and bench trials, and has handled complex arbitrations of commercial and international disputes.
Furlow received his B.A. from Hofstra University in 1983 and earned his J.D. in 1986 from the University of Minnesota Law School.
