Family Medicine, lab and imaging services will be available in June 2012
FITCHBURG, WIS. – The Kinsale Place complex, located within the Fitchburg Technology Campus, will soon be home to a suite of professional family medicine services. Meriter Medical Group’s newest clinic, Meriter Fitchburg will begin seeing patients on June 11, 2012.
“We want to ensure our community is well cared for, and convenient access to the best patient experience possible is part of our commitment to provide high quality, community-focused medical care,” said Meriter Medical Group President Robert Turngren, MD.
The clinic will be staffed by three experienced family medicine physicians, including current Meriter Medical Group physician Dr. W. Michael Wilson, who currently practices at Meriter McKee. Dr. Wilson returns to Fitchburg, where he had previously practiced for 15 years.
The Meriter Medical Group also welcomes Dr. James H. Shropshire, a local Family Medicine physician, who will join Dr. Wilson at the Meriter Fitchburg Clinic. Family Medicine physician Dr. Cheryl Martin-Foster will join the Fitchburg team in September. Dr. Martin-Foster is currently practicing in Manitowoc as a member of the Aurora Medical Group.
To provide comprehensive care, the Meriter Fitchburg clinic will also offer medical imaging and lab services. A community open house is planned for Thursday, May 24th from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. Meriter Fitchburg is located at 2690 Research Park Drive, Suite F and will occupy 5,200 square feet within this mixed use retail, office and residential complex.
