Madison College: Calling all construction companies

Construction related businesses are invited to learn about government construction contracting on Wednesday, January 25, 2012 when the Business Procurement Assistance Center (BPAC) conducts a training session at Madison Area Western Technical College’s West Campus, 302 S. Gammon Road, Madison, WI.

“Understanding Federal Construction Requirements” will be offered in the afternoon from 1:00pm to 4:00pm on January 25th. This training is a hands-on session that will focus on the unique requirements and regulations that apply to federal construction contracts. Davis Bacon Act requirements including wage determinations, completion of payroll forms, job site labor requirements will be highlighted along with progress reports and schedules and small business subcontracting plans. This training is geared toward prime contractors and subcontractors.
