RACINE, WI. February 8, 2012, Mark Behrens, President of Johnson Insurance Services is pleased to announce the appointment of Scott Austin as President of Employee Benefits, Group, and Life Sales for Johnson Insurance Services.
“Scott brings more than 30 years of sales knowledge and leadership experience within the insurance industry, which will be an immediate benefit to our customers,” said Behrens.
A sales leader for more than three decades, Austin most recently served as Sales Vice President for Associated Financial Group in Waukesha. Prior to Associated, Austin served ten years at Humana, Inc in various leadership roles including Market Practice Leader and Director of Large Group Sales.
A resident of Mequon, Wisconsin, Austin received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Lake Superior State University. In Wisconsin, he is licensed for Accident & Health and Life, and Property & Casualty, and he received his Group Benefits Associate designation from the Wharton School of Business.
An active member of his community, Austin is past president – Greater Milwaukee Employee Benefits Council, Member – International Society of Certified Employee Benefit Specialists, Member – Wisconsin Association of Health Underwriters, Member – National Association of Health Underwriters, and Member – Cedarburg Foundation Legacy Society.
