Blue Mounds, WI, November 20, 2012 – The Madison Chapter of the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) has named JG Development, Inc., a local team of residential design and building professionals, the winner in the Residential Kitchen $40,001 to under $80,000 and the Entire House $250,000 – $500,000 categories of the 2012 Contractor of the Year (CotY) awards competition.
Contractors from the Madison area vie for CotY Awards on an annual basis. All projects submitted for judging were an improvement or an addition to an existing structure. New construction projects were not eligible. In addition, competing projects were completed between July 1, 2010 and October 14, 2012. Judging for local awards took place in Milwaukee in mid-October. An impartial panel of judges who are experts within the industry and associated fields selected winners based on each entrant’s “before and after” photography and project description, problem solving, functionality, aesthetics, craftsmanship, innovation, degree of difficulty and entry presentation.
Trophies were awarded at the 2012 Celebrating Excellence Awards Evening in Madison on November 9, 2012. The Celebrating Excellence Awards Evening is widely considered to be the premier event of the year in the remodeling industry. The event was attended by more than 180 of the industries elite.
