Jadin leaving WEDC for Madison-area development agency

Paul Jadin is leaving his post as secretary and CEO of the Wisconsin Economic Development Corp. to take a job with Thrive, an economic development agency for the eight counties around Madison.

Jadin was appointed secretary of the Department of Commerce in January of last year, then transitioned to head the WEDC when it was created to replace Commerce.

He’s due to become president of Thrive on Nov. 1.

Gov. Scott Walker’s office says the WEDC board will be seeking out applicants and interviewing individuals for the CEO position over the next few weeks. Interested individuals can apply at www.wedc.org starting on Monday.
