Brookfield, Wis. — J.P. Cullen & Sons, Inc.’s work at UW-Oshkosh Sage Hall is being honored as one of this year’s top projects. Thirty projects completed in 2011 in the state of Wisconsin have been chosen as Top Projects of 2011 by The Daily Reporter newspaper. These exemplary projects were selected from more than 100 submissions, and will be honored at the Top Projects awards dinner to be held May 3 at The Garage at the Harley-Davidson Museum. The winning projects will be profiled in a special May publication of The Daily Reporter. Construction industry professionals across the state trust the annual Top Projects list to provide a snapshot of the health and success of Wisconsin’s construction industry.
This year’s winners include four “Green Projects,” selected for their efforts to recycle construction waste and promote sustainability in building and UW-Oshkosh Sage Hall was one of the four winners for “Green Projects”. These projects are recognized with help from WasteCap Resource Solutions.
The Top Projects of 2011 were selected by the editors and publisher of The Daily Reporter newspaper, and are based on a number of criteria, such as: a commitment to sustainable construction, positive impacts on the surrounding area, innovation and more.
