Brookfield, WI – October 2, 2012 — Menus for the first annual Taste of Brookfield & Beyond™ are now available. The event will be held at Marcus Majestic Theatre, 770 N. Springdale Road, Waukesha, Wis., on October 6 & 7, 2012. Hours are: Saturday, October 6th – 11 am to 7pm; Sunday, October 7th – 11 am to 4pm.
Restaurant favorites and specials that will be served include:
Baker’s Square – Chicken Pot Pie, Tomato Basil Soup, Pumpkin Pie, Pecan Pie
Carrabbas Italian Grill – Wood-grilled Chicken Marsala, Penne Pasta with Picchi Paccu Sauce (vegetarian), Homemade Sausage and Lentil Zuppe, Lobster Ravioli in Vermouth Cream Sauce
First Watch – Pumpkin Pancakes, Fruity Chicken, Siesta Key Cocktail, Maple Pulled Pork Sandwich
Marcus Majestic Big Screen Bistro – Zaffiro’s Pizza (Thincredible), Apple, Blue Cheese, &
Candied Walnut Salad, Wisconsin Burger, Zaffiro’s Gold Standard
Melting Pot – Milk Chocolate Fondue with Fruit Dippers, Milk Chocolate Fondue with Treats Dippers, Garlic Herb Chicken, Teriyaki Marinated Salmon, Old Bay Shrimp
Noodles & Company – Peppery Pork Sandwich, Barbeque Pork Mac, Pesto Cavatappi, Japanese Pan Noodles

These are the favorites and specials that will make our event family-friendly and will include children’s menu items as well.
“We expect hundreds of people to attend the two-day event to enjoy delicious tastes of outstanding cuisine from the area’s best chefs. Our guests will be able to sample enjoyable dishes and sip robust wines. And, I particularly want to thank Tony Iannice of Carrabbas for his forward thinking in planning and providing all of us with just what a customer experience should be.”
Organized and presented by the Greater Brookfield Chamber of Commerce, the Taste of Brookfield & Beyond™ showcases the area’s culinary diversity. All of the participating restaurants are donating the food to the Chamber; the Chamber will sell tickets at the event for sample tastings by these restaurants – Bakers Square, Boston Market, Carrabba’s Italian Grill, First Watch, Marcus Majestic Big Screen Bistro, Melting Pot, Noodles & Company, Olive Garden, and Stir Crazy. Bonus – Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurant will offer wine tastings.
