Madison—Today, Governor Scott Walker traveled to Howard to join UnitedHealthcare for a major job announcement. UnitedHealthcare is planning to add 169 more customer care jobs, which would bring their workforce in the state to more than 7,300.

“Northeastern Wisconsin is a great place for business with a well-educated workforce to support growth,” said Governor Walker. “These new UnitedHealthcare jobs signal how important the health care sector is in creating new jobs and providing opportunities for the workforce across Wisconsin. I look forward to their future success.”

This expansion will grow UnitedHealthcare’s customer services operation in the Green Bay area by a third. Last year their customer service operation effectively and efficiently handled 3.2 million customer inquiries from across the country.

Individuals interested in learning more about the open positions can either attend a job fair at the Green Bay facility on Thursday, August 23, or to apply online at careers.unitedhealthgroup.com .
