MILWAUKEE (July 23, 2012) – Godfrey & Kahn, S.C. is pleased to announce that Shareholder Thomas Shorter has been appointed Chair of the Health Law Section of the State Bar of Wisconsin. This is a one-year appointment effective immediately.
The State Bar of Wisconsin offers its members the opportunity to network with other lawyers who share a common interest through its 26 sections, including Health Law. Section membership includes access to newsletters, email lists to facilitate information sharing, and other resources. The Health Law Section sponsors CLE seminars and publishes a newsletter that relates health law in development. Working committees include: Bioethics, Corporate and Health Care, General Practice, Managed Care and Risk Management.
