Glacier Canyon Lodge Conference Center: Names head executive chef

WISCONSIN DELLS, Wis. —Timothy Head has been named Executive Chef of the Glacier Canyon Lodge Conference Center located on the Wilderness Territory in Wisconsin Dells. In this position, he will be responsible for directing all kitchen operations for the food production of all catered events.

Prior to working for the Wilderness Territory, Head served as corporate executive chef with Hard Rock where he opened the first Hard Rock Branded theme park in the world at Myrtle Beach, SC. He was also an executive chef and traveling executive chef for Aramark with stops in Wake Forest, River Banks Zoo and Botanical Gardens, Baltimore Convention Center, Boston Convention Center, Reliant Park Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, Glitter Gulch Hotels in Denali, Alaska and University of West Georgia, West Palm Beach Art Show and Biloxi Mississippi for Katrina Support.

Head holds an Associate Degree in Culinary Arts from the Art Institute of Atlanta School of Culinary Arts. He was a Board Member for the Myrtle
Beach Community Kitchen from 2007-2009, and was named Executive of the Year 2011-2012, Featured Member 2011 and Honored Member 2010 for the Biltmore Registry. He also was named a Hero for the Red Cross’s execution of the largest homeless, homebound and needy feeding in the Grand Strand of Myrtle Beach on Christmas Day 2007, 2008 and 2009 feeding approximately 5000 people.

Head resides in Lake Delton.

Glacier Canyon Lodge Conference Center is a beautiful, rustic-themed, 55,561 square foot facility. The diverse conference center can be divided into many different configurations, and is capable of seating up to 1,200 guests for a fully-catered event.
