Madison, WI – Full Compass Systems, a national leader in professional audio, video, A/V, lighting and musical instrument sales, recently hosted their 10th Annual “Golf Carts for Wisconsin Arts” golf tournament. The event was held at The Meadows at Six Mile Creek in Waunakee, Wisconsin, an eco-friendly course highlighted as one of the top 50 locations to play golf in the state and was organized by the Full Compass Charitable Contributions Committee, an employee-run group that plans numerous events throughout the year to raise money for charities in the greater Madison area.

One of many philanthropic efforts supported by Susan and Jonathan Lipp, owners of Full Compass Systems, the golf tournaments have raised over $50,000 in the past ten years. Proceeds from these events have been used for various charities and most recently established scholarships for freshmen in the School of Music and Department of Theater and Drama at UW-Madison. “This year we raised over $12,000 to support music and theater education,” stated Susan Lipp. “It is our hope that we can continue to provide assistance to these students now and and in years to come.”

The day was gorgeous and sunny for the nearly 70 golfers and the event’s team of volunteers. Sponsors included Audio-Technica, Harman, Countryman, Tascam, Audio Biz, Bosch, Middle Atlantic, CAD Audio, Panasonic, Community Loudspeakers, Whirlwind and SKB. These companies, as well as local businesses, Full Compass employees, partners and friends have given generously year after year to make this event a great success story.
