Foley & Lardner LLP: Wisconsin Law Journal names Jay Rothman and Allen Arntsen 2013 Leaders in the Law

Foley & Lardner LLP is pleased to announce that the Wisconsin Law Journal has named Jay O. Rothman and Allen A. Arntsen to its 2013 list of Leaders in the Law. Honorees are recognized as the top legal professionals in Wisconsin, chosen for their expertise and demonstrated leadership in the field.

Rothman, chairman and CEO of Foley and a partner in the firm’s Milwaukee office, is a prominent transactional attorney who has structured and negotiated numerous acquisition transactions in various industries both in Wisconsin and nationally. In addition, he is frequently invited to speak on SEC compliance and corporate disclosure and governance matters. Rothman has previously achieved multiple annual recognitions as a top practitioner in the areas of corporate and mergers & acquisitions law in Milwaukee.

A partner in Foley’s Madison office, Arntsen focuses his practice on patent, trademark and copyright protection and enforcement actions; energy and land use litigation; and general commercial matters. He has been lead counsel in over 50 patent infringement actions as well as represented both acquiring agencies and landowners in over 50 contested eminent domain cases. Arntsen maintains a strong commitment to working with local organizations and has previously chaired the City of Madison Reapportionment Committee, the Downtown Madison Historic Preservation Task Force, Downtown Madison, Inc. and the Madison Development Corporation, and was past vice chairman of the Madison Plan Commission.
