MILWAUKEE/MADISON – DeWitt Ross & Stevens S.C., today announced it received the top Your Honor Award, winning the category for best law firm website, during the Midwest Legal Marketing Association’s (LMA) annual Your Honor Awards 2012 event hosted in Chicago on February 29, 2012. The firm was also a finalist in the Identity category for its new logo.
As the only specialized awards program in the legal industry, the Your Honor Awards recognize creativity, execution, achievement and overall excellence in legal marketing, business development and communications. The LMA Midwest Your Honor Awards distinguish Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Missouri or Wisconsin law firms, who have set new standards for innovation in finding, developing and retaining profitable business through expert marketing. This year DeWitt was honored as setting the standard for legal websites.
A panel of judges from the legal community reviewed nearly 40 entries in nine marketing categories for the event, which was attended by more than 160 people. Judges highlighted that DeWitt’s award winning website site is client-centric and incorporates intuitive navigation, a robust content management system, multi-functional search and contact features, a broad emphasis on the people of the firm, and a content rich, yet concise site.
Additionally they noted the site’s homepage welcomes visitors with a bright color scheme, uncluttered design and moving images of DeWitt attorneys. While many law firm websites are content heavy and design poor, DeWitt found a way to incorporate its new, contemporary brand with today’s technology and what clients are looking for, all in one stop.
