RICHFIELD, Wis., March 27, 2012 – DCI Cheese Company (“DCI”) is pleased to unveil “Pure Ingredients, Purely Delicious”, a recipe contest sponsored by Organic Creamery, the company’s line of certified organic cheeses. This April and May, home chefs are encouraged to submit their favorite recipes incorporating Organic Creamery cheeses for the chance to win one of three eco-friendly prizes for the kitchen.

In-store shelf talkers with tear pads featuring a coupon can be found in participating retailers throughout the contest. Additionally, consumers with smart phones can connect directly to http://www.OrganicCreameryCheese.com via the promotional display’s QR code to view recipes and wine pairings and to access the online entry form.

All submissions will be tested and judged by an independent panel according to taste, originality and appropriate use of Organic Creamery cheeses. Winners will receive eco-friendly prizes for the kitchen including an energy- and water-efficient dishwasher (first place), an 8-piece eco-conscious cookware set (second place) and an eco-friendly bamboo dinnerware set (third place).

“Organic Creamery is the most extensive line of certified organic cheese varieties in the United States so the culinary possibilities are truly endless for our contestants,” says Katie Jury, Marketing Manager at DCI. “We’re excited to see the ‘purely delicious’ recipes they create for this contest…and we’re even more excited to sample the entries!”

Organic Creamery cheeses are produced in a manner that is beneficial to the health and welfare of people, animals and the environment. All products are hand-crafted by award winning Wisconsin cheesemakers with 100% certified organic milk. The fresh milk used in production is sourced from family farms that practice humane animal management and pasture grazing and is free of pesticides, antibiotics and hormones. Additionally, no animal rennet or artificial colorings are used during production. Organic Creamery cheeses proudly display the USDA organic seal.

Details about the Organic Creamery “Pure Ingredients, Purely Delicious” promotion, including full contest rules, will be available on the contest website (http://www.OrganicCreameryCheese.com) throughout the promotion. A selection of the submitted recipes will also be featured on the site upon completion of the contest.
