Cross Plains, WI—Join the Cub Scouts along with their chartered organization, the Lions Club, and the Cross Plains Area Chamber of Commerce Saturday, April 7 as we host the 8th annual Easter Egg Hunt. The Easter Bunny will be at Baer Park at 10:00am. The Egg Hunt starts promptly at 10:30am. Bring your own basket and enjoy the fun rain or shine! Please bring non-perishable canned goods as a donation to the annual food drive conducted by the Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts.
Each child can collect only 1 golden egg for a prize, redeemable at the shelter house after the hunt. Children can also get up to 6 colored eggs stuffed with candy and tokens. Each age group hunts in their own location; kids 0-2 are in the basketball court, 3-5 are in the baseball diamond closest to the shelter, 6-8 are in the playground equipment and 9-11 are in the other baseball diamond.
The Cub Scouts will be hard at work organizing and collecting donations for kid’s prizes. If you are able, please consider a donation to be used for supplies and prizes for the children. Another way to be involved is to volunteer to help out at the event. Please contact Chris Rauch (798-1948), Kathy Virnig (798-0613), Amy Hansen (843-3166) or Janet Gaumer (798-2133) with any questions, donations, or if you’d like to help out!
